Ladies' Beach Trip

I'm finally at the beach! For the third year in a row, a group of ladies from my church have ventured to Ocean Isle Beach for a weekend of rest, relaxation, pampering, crying and laughing! We arrived last night around 11 pm, and so far this morning we have had devotions and sharing. If you notice the time stamp for this blog, you will see that it is not morning any more! We are finally getting ready for the day so that we can go eat lunch (because we only brought food for breakfast this morning) and get groceries for the rest of the weekend. It's so nice to be on vacation and not worry about time! :)

Wow - - - is it warm there? I know you've had some snow in K-ville, so what's it like at the beach???

I'm quite jealous!!!!

It has been a beautiful day! It's cool, but warmer in the sunshine. One of the ladies walked on the beach barefoot. She said the water was ice cold! We usually all hit the beach on the first day, but we spent too much time sharing. :)

This is who's here....Amy Freeman, Cindy Creed, Carla Blackburn, Dianne Jackson and her sister Rhonda, Candy Dumas, Gail McRae, Kristie Campbell, Martha McKaughn and me! You might at least recognize some last names. We're heading out for a walk on the beach now....it's 50 degrees! :)

It was 50 today here, too! I didn't go walking in the melting snow barefoot, though.
